Does the MobiMatter coupon really give 50% off?
No. It gives 50% cashback credit on the qualifying first purchase, up to a maximum of $5.
Suppose your first eSIM costs $8. The reward would be 50% of $8, or $4. If the eSIM costs $14, 50% would be $7, but the cap reduces the reward to $5. You still pay the displayed order total at checkout. The benefit appears as reward credit rather than an instant $4 or $5 reduction.
This distinction makes ESIMDUDE more useful for someone who expects to buy another travel eSIM or top-up than for a one-off traveller who will never use MobiMatter again. The credit is not withdrawable as cash, and the current rewards rules require a minimum $16 balance plus enough credit to cover the entire next product. A single $5 referral reward therefore cannot normally be redeemed on its own.
